The
Centre has successful long-term co-operation with veterinary, sanitary
and agricultural inspections supervising veterinary and health
propriety and quality of raw materials, food, that these authorities
carry out within the supervision in import activities, production and
sale. This co-operation is preconditioned with the references that
Centre possesses as well as through well trained operative and
technical suitability of the terrain services.
With the aim
to exchange experiences and increase new knowledge Centre closely
co-operates with many highly educational and scientific institutions
among which are Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, science and
mathematics (chemistry), Agriculture, Medicine and Pharmaceutics. We
should mention co-operation with many institutes and laboratories in
the country as well as abroad.
Also, the experts of the
Centre participate at congresses in the country and abroad but also at
the expert educational seminars necessary for further scientific and
contemporary work.
According to the determined plan of
scientific advancement, Centre provides expert advancement in skills of
its staff through education at graduate studies. The evidence of this
are numerous experts who have PhD degree, MA degree or specialisation,
and all with the aim to acquire the most qualified staff, which has to
respond to the maximal expert tasks. In last years the staff is
educated in accordance to the program of European Union. Among the
first BS of such studies is the expert of the Centre who completed
Master degree in “Food safety and quality”, organised at the Faculty of
Veterinary Medicine in Belgrade under the sponsorship of European Union.
The
Centre educates the experts who carry out the activities of quality
control, propriety of raw materials, food during their production and
turnover or work in laboratories that control the production. With such
an aim Centre made many instructions which in practical way apply
theoretical knowledge in laboratories of this type. The Centre for
food analysis has close co-operation with producers and distributors of
raw materials for production of food, which represents determination of
sanitary and hygienic conditions of work, control of technical and
technological production processes, as well as quality control and food
safety. This co-operation covers great number of small but also bog
producers of raw materials used in food production originating from
plants and animals as well as less or well known sales objects, hotels
or hospitality objects. The Centre co-operates with some institutions
for more than 30 years on mutual satisfaction.
Permanent
co-operation is established with media (newspapers, radio, television)
through which the public is introduced with the data on food safety,
and education of general population regarding food safety, their
correctness, application and correct preservation as well as carrying
out hygienic measures with the aim of health protection.
During
nineties of the last century, when our country went through a very
difficult period of economics, migration and social events (war in
vicinity, inflation and bombing), the Centre as well as many other
institutions with its unselfish and humanitarian work helped
determining correctness of thousands and thousands food samples
received from humanitarian donations for feeding the most endangered
categories of population. During that period of time Centre gathered
strength to respond to these needs and all with the aim to protect
health of our countrymen. |
