Activities and employees
There are 59 persons employed out of which 35 are with the University – level of qualification (two PhD, three Master degree and 18 specialists). Centre consists of multidisciplinary teams consisting of highly educated experts, according to the requirements of laboratory researches, that is, activities (organisational scheme).

The field of activities of the Centre are in connection with specialised work within laboratory research of the health propriety and quality of raw materials, goods and food. Also, Centre carries out the activities in connection with industry as follows: determining location, construction –technical, technological and sanitary –hygienic conditions in the objects for production, processing and turnover of food, application of hazard analysis and critical points control in production and turnover of food even in hospitality as well as education of the employees about sanitary – hygienic conditions for work.

GENERAL MANAGER

bata Mr Sc. Med. Branimir Saračević

He was born in 1946 in Ljubljana. He completed faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1973 in Belgrade. He was awarede Master degree in Human genetics at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade in 1978. He published greater number of works in the field of food safety and genetic researches. During the long period of work he has shared his expert and working experience to the generations of young experts in the field of safety of food and food products.
